COMTA Recognition Renewed - U.S. Secretary of Education Rod Paige, in a letter dated November 8, 2004, granted the Commission on Massage Therapy Accreditation (COMTA) continued recognition for a period of five years. The Secretary also granted COMTA's request for an expansion of scope for the accreditation of institutions in the United States that award post-secondary certificates, post-secondary diplomas, and academic Associate degrees in the practice of massage therapy and bodywork.
