As part of our 2011 Validity Study, COMTA has asked for feedback about all of our Standards for Accreditation. COMTA has a new address for sending fee payments. Financial stability for the agency is improving and we are still keeping most of our fees the same as those from January 2010.more »

Nominations for Commissioner positions for the 2012 Election are now being accepted!
COMTA Commissioners are volunteers from all over the country who meet certain criteria for representing different viewpoints within our community. The terms are staggered and three are scheduled for election in 2012: Educator, Administrator and Professional Educator.

The Commission on Massage Therapy Accreditation is seeking volunteers with experience practicing either massage or aesthetics to represent the Practitioner viewpoint in accreditation matters. There are two positions open for immediate consideration. Candidates should be currently practicing either massage/bodywork and/or aesthetics in the United States.more »
